Hello Watchers,
I am a judge in a context hosted by Felizias and we are still looking for contestants (only 2 weeks left!!). Here is a description of the contest.
"The 70s were a wild, hippie-filled time, Michael Jackson and Madonna set the tone in the 80s while wonderfull movies like Forrest Gump, The Sixth Sense, Mrs Doubtfire (bless you, my captian), Tatanic and many more dominated the 90s followed by great polical change (the first black president of the US, the first woman as Germanys Federal Chancellor, e.g.) in the 2000s.
So many things are happening in the world. So many things to leave a mark (good, bad or neutral) on you as time passes.
Now my question is: What defines your generation? Was it a certain couples of year, only one event or the overall "feel"?
Put your impressions down on your paper or your screen or whatever you can hold long enough to show to others.
For more details on the contest or to express your interest go to
I hope that one of you can participate!!
Thanks,
MG

#our generation contest - CLOSEDHello, guys!
Unfortunately, only one deviant managed to enter this contest but he brought us three drawings from the 90s in Russia.
We can not do any judging due to the lack of entries so SomeSortofMax will receive a one-month premium (or the equal amount of points) from me and will be featured on my Artist Spotlight (on my profile) in February for his work.
Everyone who offered prizes is free to contribute if they still want to.

Back to Work
Hello All,
I haven't been very active on DA in the past year and a half but I am hoping to change that starting right now. I plan to not only create and post more of my own art but to also discover/ comment on new artwork created by others in DA community, particularly by those on my watch list.
Keep'em coming folks! :)

Article on Cognitive Biases
I found this article online about cognitive bias and thought it was a really important read since it is extremely relevant to how we approach our daily lives and thinking processes.
We are all guilty of one or more of the biases on this list. However, I think it says a lot that about human achievement that we have been able to find ways to get around or minimize the impact of these biases on our understanding of how the world really works. This is one of the great things about the scientific method, for instance. It relies on experimental observation rather than anecdotal evidence to deduce how things operate in the real world. Biases can st
Changes to My Home Page
Hello,
I have added some widgets/sections to my homepage to make things more interesting. The changes include an "In the News section where I post the titles and links to interesting news articles I have read and a Collections feature showcasing my favorite Traditional Art from some DA artists.
More changes to follow I'm sure.
Thanks
