I am currently working on some pieces that are of the comic book genre - visual storytelling. I find the process interesting but challenging. Comic book drawing is one of the most versatile forms of drawing that requires a level of dynamism that you don't always encounter in a one-shot pin-up artwork piece (foreshortening, complex perspectives, consistency of setting and characters, and dynamic storytelling). Furthermore, from pencil to colouring, each step in the process is its own art form. Even inking, I have definitely come to appreciate, is not just 'tracing" as some have called it. It is its own special skill set, one that I definitely need to work on. The part that I probably find the most difficult is the traditional storytelling, the text if you will. I can draw and develop plot lines but I have never been much for writing, but like any skillset it's one I will work on.
I should have some stuff posted soon.

#our generation contest
Hello Watchers,
I am a judge in a context hosted by Felizias (https://www.deviantart.com/felizias) and we are still looking for contestants (only 2 weeks left!!). Here is a description of the contest.

So many things are happening in the world. So many things to leave a mark (good, bad or neutral) on you as

Back to Work
Hello All,
I haven't been very active on DA in the past year and a half but I am hoping to change that starting right now. I plan to not only create and post more of my own art but to also discover/ comment on new artwork created by others in DA community, particularly by those on my watch list.
Keep'em coming folks! :)

Article on Cognitive Biases
I found this article online about cognitive bias and thought it was a really important read since it is extremely relevant to how we approach our daily lives and thinking processes.
We are all guilty of one or more of the biases on this list. However, I think it says a lot that about human achievement that we have been able to find ways to get around or minimize the impact of these biases on our understanding of how the world really works. This is one of the great things about the scientific method, for instance. It relies on experimental observation rather than anecdotal evidence to deduce how things operate in the real world. Biases can st
